SMC Unfolding Conversations 2019
Organised by Singapore Mediation Centre, the Unfolding Conversation series is an annual networking and outreach event for business users.
The series explores how businesses from different industry can harness the benefits of mediation for their disputes in today’s complex and challenging commercial landscape.
Focusing on the construction industry this year, the event was attended by 115 guests from the construction industry.
SMC Appreciation Lunch 2019
The Singapore Mediation Centre held its annual SMC Appreciation Lunch 2019 on 4 September at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore. The luncheon was attended by 450 guests from the legal industry.
During the luncheon, the annual SMC Appreciation Awards were given out to more than 35 organisations and/or individuals for their contribution to SMC’s works.
PUB Service and Innovation Day 2018
Organised by Public Utilities Board, the Service and Innovation Day was held on 5th November at Devan Nair Institute. The event saw about 400 guests from staffs and officers to recognise their outstanding performance towards service and innovation excellence.
The event consist of an exhibition which showcased the products and services of 18 projects and an awards ceremony.
NHB Inspiring Teacher of English Awards 2018
Organised by Experiential Creations for the second year running, the Inspiring Teacher of English Awards 2018 was held on 11 October 2018, with a total of 9 teachers receiving this award. The event was held at The Pod at the National Library and hosted about 120 guests.
The awards were presented by the Guest-of-Honour, Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance & Second Minister for Education.
2 of past year’s winner also shared with the many teachers present that evening on ways and techniques to engage students in learning English Language.
Energy Efficiency National Partnership Awards 2018
Organised by the National Environment Agency, the annual Energy Efficiency National Partnership Awards was held on 11 October 2018 at the Devan Nair Institute. The Awards and Conference was attended by 500 industry participants.
The event was graced by Senior Minister of State, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources & Ministry of Health, Dr Amy Khor. 15 companies, agencies and individuals received the Award at the opening of the event.
The event consist of breakout sessions and an exhibition which showcased the products and services of 18 local and overseas companies.
MND HUDDLE 2018
Organised by the various agencies under the Ministry of National Development, the MND Huddle held on 18 September saw about 480 guests from the MND Family. The event was hosted by Minister for National Development, Mr Lawrence Wong.
Municipal Services Awards 2018
Organised by the Municipal Services Office under the Ministry of National Development, the Municipal Services Awards held on 12 September aims to motivate staff by giving recognition for their good work, and to encourage positive behaviour, especially with inter-agency collaboration.
The event was attended by 400 guests and graced by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Grace Fu.
NHB Inspiring Teacher of English Awards 2017
The Inspiring Teacher of English Awards 2017 are jointly presented by The Straits Times and the Speak Good English Movement, and supported by the Ministry of Education.
A total of 9 teachers received this award on 13 October 2017. The event was held at The Pod at the National Library and hosted about 120 guests. The awards were presented by the Guest-of-Honour, Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for Education, and Communications and Information. The awards ceremony ended with a networking reception for all guests and recipients.
The CAAS Aviation Challenged 1 Awards Ceremony was held on 17 August 2017 and was graced by Mr Ng Chee Meng, Minister for Education (Schools) and 2nd Minister for Transport.
The event was attended by 100 over industry partners and guests were treated to a guided tour on the prototypes developed by the participating companies.
MOTAC 2019/2020
The Ministry of Transport (MOT) Awards Ceremony is an annual event that recognises and honours National Day Awards, Minister’s Value-for-Money Achievement Awards and Minister’s Innovation Awards recipients in the MOT Family for their dedicated service and innovative projects.
It was attended by 500 guests in 2019/20 edition at the Garden Ballroom at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay (Formerly Marina Mandarin).
