


YSIAC Conference 2019
The biennial YSIAC Conference was held on 20 November 2019 at the Maxwell Chambers. The Conference hosted over 200 local and foreign delegates in attendance. During the Conference, delegates were engaged in various Speed Conferencing Sessions, a Plenary Session and Debate Session. Delegates were also invited to networking drinks after the Conference.






MPA SRS Forum 2019
Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Registry of Ships Forum, which saw more than 200 participants, was held on 8th November at Grand Copthorne Waterfront.
Themed “2020 & Beyond”, the SRS Forum organised by MPA saw the announcement of several new initiatives. These initiatives will help ship owners and operators contribute to environmental sustainability, improve operational efficiency through digitalisation, and develop skilled maritime professionals.








TTSH Multidisciplinary Oncology Conference 2019
Tan Tock Seng Hospital organised the TTSH Multi- disciplinary Oncology Symposium 2019. The event was conducted over two days, 5 & 6 October, with the first day being a scientific symposium and the second day being a public forum. The event saw a total of over 200 attendees.
The public forum is designed to raise public awareness on the importance of rehabilitation, nutrition and support network, while the scientific symposium focuses on optimising outcomes of oligo- metastasis in areas of lung, liver and peritoneum using multimodality treatments. The scientific programme includes tumour board discussions by the renowned panel of local and international invited speakers from various specialties including surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists.












MANE Forum 2019
The MANE Forum kicked off with an opening speech by our Guest of Honour, Mr Edwin Tong SC, Singapore Senior Minister of State for Law and Health. Followed by keynote speech by Dr Noeleen Heyzer, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations. With the signing of the Singapore Convention on Mediation, SIMC is commemorating this historic moment by entering into strategic partnerships with CIETAC and KCAB.










CIArb Asia-Pacific Regional Conference 2019
“The Future of International Dispute Resolution: Innovation and Insights from the Asia-Pacific Region” is a one day conference on 23 April 2019. Two special sessions will bookend the conference, with The Honourable Justice Quentin Loh as the keynote speaker.
The conference started with a breakfast session featuring the thoughts of in-house counsel on how dispute resolution needs to develop. The conference close their last session with a spotlight for younger voices in the region to present their ideas on the future of dispute resolution in the Asia-Pacific.










Third Forum of Ministers and Environment Authorities of Asia Pacific
Organised by UN Environment, more than 500 international guests were hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources for a 3-days meeting from 23 – 25 January 2019 in Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre. The meeting had various plenary and dialogue sessions.
The Forum focused on UNEA-4 theme ‘Innovative solutions for environmental challenges and sustainable consumption and production’.
On its third and final day, Deputy Prime Minister, Teo Chee Hean and Minister of Environment and Water Resources, Masagos Zulkifli
attended the event.














MPA SRS Forum 2018
Organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, the Singapore Registry of Ships Forum, which saw more than 200 participants, was held on 30th November at Park Royal on Beach Road to exchange insights on key developments in the shipping industry.
At the event, Mr Andrew Tan, CE of MPA, shared how Singapore prepares the port and Singapore-registered ships for the IMO 0.5% fuel oil sulphur limit. He also shared initiatives by MPA to improve delivery of its services.












SIAC Congress 2018
The highlight of the SIAC Congress Week was the SIAC Congress 2018. Held at St. Regis on 17 May 2018, the congress was attended by more than 350 local and international delegates in the arbitration industry. The guests were treated to a Gala Dinner after the Congress.
The Congress was graced by Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister for Finance and The Honourable the Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon.
The Gala Dinner was graced by Ms Indranee Rajah, SC, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Law, Finance and Education.








NTU Pro-AM 2019

As port of the Singapore Maritime Week, MPA organised the 12th Singapore Maritime Lecture on 26 April 2018. The event was held at the Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore and saw more than 250 guests from the maritime industry and government agencies.
This year’s lecture was graced by Dr Lam Pin Min, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Transport & Ministry of Health. The keynote was delivered by Mr Søren Skou, CEO of A.P. Moller-Maersk and guests were engaged in a very insightful fireside chat with Mr Søren Skou and Mr Andreas Sohmen-Pao, Chairman of BW Group and the Singapore Maritime Foundation.

Fourth Authors' Meeting of UN Environment Programme's Sixth Global Environment Outlook Global Report
Organised by UN Environment, more than 200 international guests were hosted by the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources for a 5-days meeting at the Regent Hotel from 19 – 23 Febuary 2018. The meeting had various plenary sessions and about 12 breakout tracks.
On 21 February, the guests were invited to a site visit at the Singapore City Gallery and a guided tour at the Sustainable Singapore Gallery at Marina Barrage.
After the site visits, the guests were treated to a hawker-themed dinner reception where local hawkers were invited to whip up a feast of local delicacies.
























ICAO Air Traffic Flow Management Global Symposium
Hosted by CAAS, the ICAO Air Traffic Flow Management Global Symposium was held from 20-22 November 2017 at the Sands Ballroom, Marina Bay Sands.
The symposium was attended by more than 300 local and foreign delegates.
The delegates were hosted to a dinner reception at the Flower Field Hall, Gardens by the Bay.










MPA SRS Forum 2017
On 17 November 2017, MPA held its annual SRS Forum.
The full day forum was attended by more than 300 delegates in the shipping and maritime industry.
More than 50 companies were presented with the Green Ship Certificate, SRS Milestone Gift and Manpower Recognition Award.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore and GCNS also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide Singapore-incorporated maritime companies listed on the SGX with training on sustainability reporting, in accordance with requirements of the SGX.








NCSS Seniors Empowered! 2017 Conference
The second edition of the NCSS Seniors Empowered! Conference was held on 3 November 2017 at the Furama Riverfront Hotel.
A total number of 250 guests from various Voluntary Welfare Organisations and minsitries were hosted to a full day of insightful sharing.
The conference comprises of 1 main plenary session and 3 breakout tracks.














HDB Safety Seminar & Award 2017
The annual HDB Safety Seminar & Award was held on 3 November 2017 at the HDB Auditorium. The event was graced by Deputy CEO of the Building group of HDB.
The event saw about 350 guests from the construction sector, ministries and government agencies.
10 companies received the HDB Construction Safety Award and pledged to continue their efforts to achieve Vision Zero in their construction projects.












NAC Arts in Eldercare Seminar 2017
The Arts in Eldercare Seminar is an annual platform bringing together social and healthcare practitioners, aged care policymakers and artists, to explore how the arts can engage and empower our elderly for creative ageing.
The Seminar was attended by more than 300 guests and was graced by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Ms Grace Fu.
The guests were engaged in various keynote speeches by local and foreign speakers, project sharing by local organisations and performances by the seniors!
















CAAS Aviation Safety Forum 2017
CAAS held the Aviation Safety Forum 2017 on 25 August 2017. The forum was attended by over 450 aviation leaders and professionals.
The keynote address focused on the challenges and mindsets needed to succeed in this new era of safety management. The Singapore State Safety Programme (SSP) was also launched at the event with many key industry leaders pledging their commitment towards implementing the Singapore SSP.


















YSIAC Conference 2017 was held on 9 June 2017 at the Maxwell Chambers with over 200 local and foreign delegates in attendance.
Apart from the Plenary Sessions, delegates were also engaged in various Speed Conferencing Sessions and a Debate Session.
Delegates were invited to a cocktail evening after the Conference.








APMHE 2017, organised by The Chief of Medical Corps, Singapore Armed Forces and United States Pacific Command Surgeon, was opened by Dr Ng Eng Hen, Minister for Defence, and was held from 23 – 26 May 2017.
The Conference hosted over 750 foreign and local delegates from 27 countries in attendance, engaging in over 120 presentations in multiple concurrent breakout tracks and 170 poster presentations over 4 days. As part of the programme, delegates were invited to visit Gardens by the Bay and Army Open House 2017 and were hosted to a dinner themed ’City of Flavours’.
